Lingering…

To linger in your eyes;
A well of youth – I’m drinking -
For once not even thinking
Of farewells or goodbyes…
Forever is the timing;
The keeper of these moments -
For come whatever omens,
These bells will keep on chiming…
Blessed are the free;
The ones whom time won’t chase
For endless rushing haste
They will not ever see…
So linger ever more;
In time it all will pass -
For then – I know, at last,
I’ll venture through your door…
And for the audio-philes:
Echoes

Echoes of you
Is all that I have -
So precious and few;
More than I ever had…
Echoes of souls
In hollow chambers -
Bouncing off walls;
So happy and blameless…
In you I am echoed;
Your lips drip my words -
Acoustics of honey
To these empty ears…
And for the audio-philes:
Lament

The swallows are flying once again -
Leaving me for better climes…
My love is riding on their wings -
Hope eternal from them springs;
For over forests, rivers and lakes -
Beyond meandering desert dunes -
There lies the spring of your return…
Come back to me – when summer hails -
Come back to me – again…
And for the audio-philes:
Lights in the sky

When I dream I see
Auroras in your eyes;
Staving off my melancholy -
Lighting up the skies…
The sparkle of your soul
Is glaring back at me;
My one and only goal -
With you once more to be…
As the light wash over me
I drift away with you;
Holding on for eternity -
For something that is new…
And for the audio-philes:
Horizons of light

The edges of your soul -
Horizons of pure light -
Guiding me to virtue -
Strengthening my plight…
To enter through your essense -
An honor just to be -
The blinding light a blessing -
Not given out lightly…
I thank you for the moment -
The silence in your smile -
Enlightenment you gave to me -
If only for the shortest while…
And for the audio-philes:
