Spinning

Feed me to the hills -
Let the echoes crush my heart
And consume my soul
~~~
Scatter me in stars -
Spread me ‘cross the endless sky
To vanish by dawn…
~~~
Cleanse me with oceans -
Batter me with endless floods
Until I am done…
~~~
I am simply lost -
Discarded – without purpose
Drifting, spinning, down…
Sugar Ray – Spinning away
Despair
On the precipice of sadness
Teeters inklings of despair -
They are waiting to be swallowed
With an alcoholic flair…
Little soldiers in your palm
Shouldering the weight of night -
Ready, steady, to be freed
And to resume their dreadful plight…
Take another final breath
And savor this delight -
Morning comes without a care
To end this endless fight…
Welcoming oblivion
The mind flakes into flight,
Knowing happiness is just
Another memory of light…
Fall from grace
Behold, an epic fall from grace
As I collapse onto my face
Amid the darkness of a maze -
The labyrinth of my disgrace…
In recesses of the untold
I sank into the depths of cold
Where misery is taking hold
And dragging me into the fold…
Sagging on my crucifix
I’m locked in this descending helix
Longing for my dominatrix
To extract me from the matrix…
In this world I don’t belong
As part of this pulsating throng -
You saw me weak, knew all along,
That I could never be that strong…
And now I stand before you, bare,
Inviting your judgmental stare -
To rip apart my soul, to dare,
And leave my shards without a care…
Choice
No further than this brittle freedom
Lies in wakeful vigilance
The harbinger of consequence
Whose cutting razor enterprise
Of double bladed compromise
Just waits for you with empty lies…
Seek no further than your skin
For agony lies deep within
Where indecision in derision
Boils like acid to be freed
And insecure calamity
Springs forth from this most primal need…
And yet no further can be gone
Until you cast that fateful die
For lurking in those murky depths
Is hidden who you really are -
When what has passed can’t be revived
Regrets looms near the end of life…
Miracle
What a vision to devise -
A blessing hidden in disguise,
As cuddle-kissing realized;
Two blended souls immortalized…
What a moment to behold
In love a union foretold -
The beckoning ever so bold;
A gentle bundle in our mould…
What an ending to our strife,
With you beside me as my wife -
To hold a miracle of light
And dream how we created life…
