Be my world

Let me encompass your lovely equator
And lazily lounge in your dream-latitudes…
Let me hide from the wind in your coves -
Give me lee in your estuaries…
Let me explore all your silvery beaches
Embellished in splendour by coral lagoons -
Feel me clamber through your mystery caves
As I ravish your endless ravines…
Let me rain onto your arid plains
To fill your brooks with life
In meandering fingering rivulets
As I wistfully wade your wetlands…
Let me garnish your glades
And forever in forests
Let us weep from the streams
Into ponds of our passion…
The cellar

The dust on this door
Has the texture of ancients -
Unspoiled by explorers
Through countless long aeons…
The stuck-rusty hinges
Have been welded by time -
I kick with my might
And I barely break in…
I peer down the stairs
To an undisclosed mind -
I tread through the cobwebs;
Pioneering the cavern…
I stumble around,
Falling over dark nothings,
The darkness is swirling -
And I’m suffocating…
A bulb overhead,
Filled with sombre intentions,
Is lost in the dark
And the chain’s dangling free…
I pull on the switch
But the light does not shine -
I yank it again
But the darkness just thickens…
About to give up,
And to get the fuck out,
Abruptly it blinks -
Understanding sets in…
The clarity brilliant
As briefly I see -
The cowering shadows
In corners recede…
And then I am blinded
By the truth of your mind -
Forever imprinted
And always remembered…
Thus is a journey
To the center of you…
