IT

IT came on the darkest night
To look for lovers lost to light -
As ancient as the grains of time
IT is summoned by the dire;
Waking from eternal slumber
To deliver love divine…
IT found her abandoned soul
Adrift and lonesome without goal -
Her self-esteem a petered wisp
Of what it used to be…
IT found him in arid deserts
Thirsting for a gentle touch -
His heart was hardened anthracite
Encrusted by his past…
IT exposed her inner beauty
Showing her the worth inside -
She realized what she deserved
And knew for it she had to fight…
IT seared him with blinding light
And burned away his stubborn husk -
He saw once more the good and kind;
Was open to be vulnerable…
IT provided the occasion;
Drew them closer without knowing -
Hooked its talons in their hearts
And held them there – never apart -
Until they glowed as one ignited
Nevermore to be divided…
IT is love in purest form;
The age-old guardian of this rock
And IT will find you any place,
There is no hiding from its grace,
For man is doomed to be united
Even if we want to fight it…
Jesus tree

Up there on the hill
Your saviour is growing -
Ripe for the picking;
The fruits of forgiveness…
Pluck from the tree
Your salvation for free -
Sustenance of souls;
The release from perdition…
Heed your heart’s call
And kneel in the shade -
Deliverance waiting;
What choice will be made…
A warm place

I’m just looking for a place,
Where I can lay my tired head…
I can search the face of earth,
But would be with you instead…
I crave your understanding smile,
The light your eyes bestow upon me…
I need the beauty of your soul
To keep my barking fears away..
All this noise inside my head -
I’m trapped within my own regret…
Won’t you be my seraphim -
And carry me out of the flames…
If there ever was a theme song to my life it would be A warm place by Nine Inch Nails. This song is a vivid glimpse into my psyche, and an inspiration when I’m lost in the depths of my own mind…
I just wanted to share it with you:
Beautifully covered by Stella Soleil
And another cover by From Exile
Don’t

Don’t saddle your white horse,
For I am lost in time -
A fallen angel down alone
In a far-forgotten land…
Don’t mount your snowy steed,
I am countless miles away -
The road too long in any way,
For you to take; to waste your time…
Don’t ride your silver stallion;
Don’t come this way to rescue me -
For it would end my agony
And take away the misery…
Help me scale your milky mustang;
I can’t see it through my tears…
Help me now into your heart,
And save me from this lonely grave…
My cross

Here my soul is hanging now
On the cross that was carved by you
Laid open, extended, and splinted-
As shattered as I am…
You get strangled
In my crow’s-nest thoughts
You get lost in the bare, empty plains…
You enter the darkness…
You see me exposed,
You wander and explore.
You step on old wounds
With your hard soles-
You touch hidden places…
You take away the pain,
You heal what was broken,
And you, and you, and YOU…
You release me from the cross…
